Disillusioned and tired of hearing the same old soul records week in week out, Andy Dyson and Mick H decided in the summer of 2003 to something about it. As much as they loved the oldies and the big money in-demanders you hear every DJ spinning, Andy and Mick decided to put on an allnighter, so that punters could hear the very best in upfront 60s & 70s black soul music, including unknowns, underplayed, forgotten and thinking man's (and woman's) oldies.

Having decided on the venue, and having decided what they wanted the dancers to hear, the next task was to assemble the finest crop of upfront dj’s the scene has to offer, so joining Andy and Mick were Butch, Soul Sam, Cliff Steele and Chalky. Regular guests include Kitch, Dean Anderson, Tim Brown, Marco, Arthur Fenn and more... The worlds best Rare Soul DJ's, who between them have the finest black music 45's on the planet! The Lifeline soul club is an experience not to be missed.
